Quality

Our goal is that our food gests shall receive such good food as possible. How the food is prepared, that we can not influence, but it's our job to make the shipment as gentle as possible. That´s something we have been working on for more than 50 years.

In every detail we are constantly looking for opportunities for improvement. It may include strength, durability, hygiene, electronics, ergonomics, insulation and economy. Let us ensure that transportation will be a strong link in the chain from kitchen to dining room.

Details

Careful design down to the smallest detail

It's the details that form the whole. That's why we put so much effort into refining and developing every little detail. Our work has been progressing steadily since 1969.

Some examples:

  • Locking function with ergonomically designed handles, double locking bolts and precise seals.
  • Insulation that minimizes wall thickness combined with extremely high insulation effect.
  • Doors that open to an angle of 270 degrees.
  • Hinges that do not stick out and that last for many, many years.
  • Patented electrical systems with electronic control of the heat within a very narrow spectrum to assure the highest food quality.
  • Castors that are not obstinate but instead roll smoothly year after year.
  • Guides designed to enable smooth handling and cleaning.
  • Fully welded stainless steel inside with stamped guides.

Stainless Steel

Inside completely in stainless steel ...

The R-series of the THERMOBOX® is a further development of a tried-and-true concept. All of the product's original, highly appreciated properties such as long service life, electronic temperature control, excellent ergonomy and carefree function have been retained.

Now we have refined the inside by producing it entirely in stainless steel without any joints or recesses. Stamped, stainless steel guides increase the level of safety and facilitate cleaning.

For the homemaker or the restaurant chef, important proof of a job well done is praise for delicious food.

It is the goal of SDX® to enable the heating/cooling and transport of food while retaining the quality of the food.

The single most important factor for preserving the freshness of food is the temperature.

SDX® has developed a patented electrical system with electronic temperature control. This system keeps the temperature within the desired limits, with minimal temperature fluctuation. Combined with very effective insulation, the SDX® system provides food quality that can be seen in the appreciation shown by the dining guests.

Hygiene

Some guests are not welcome

In each detail we strive for quality. One example is our new, stamped guides that simplify cleaning and provide a completely smooth and sealed surface, without any recesses or cracks. An improvement that also makes it easier for the user to maintain good hygiene.

Our patented electrical system with electronic temperature control and the clear, analogue thermometer is crucial for good hygiene. It is well known that prepared food must be kept at the correct temperature to prevent the growth of bacteria. It must never be doubted that the temperature is correct.
